Using the cushion
Which way round does it go?
Place it with the opening towards the back of the seat so the cutout sits under the tailbone area. The wider, rounded edge faces forward.
Does it come with a cover?
No. The cushion is supplied as the honeycomb gel cushion on its own, without a fabric cover.
What does the honeycomb structure do?
The core is made of connected hexagonal gel cells. Each one flexes on its own, so your weight is shared across the seat. The open cells also let air move through, unlike solid foam.
Will it feel soft?
Gel feels supportive rather than plush. If you prefer a soft, sink-in feel, a foam cushion may suit you better.
Is it a medical device?
No. It's a comfort cushion for everyday sitting and isn't intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. If you have pain or a medical condition, please ask a healthcare professional.
Care
How do I clean the cushion?
Wipe the gel with a damp cloth and mild soap, then let it air-dry fully before use.
Can the gel core go in the washing machine?
No, wipe the gel core by hand. Machine washing or tumble drying can damage the gel.
How should I store it?
Keep it flat and away from direct heat, sharp objects and long periods in strong sunlight.
Size & fit
What are the dimensions?
About 16 × 13 × 2 in (41 × 33 × 5 cm, W × D × H). Small variations are normal for moulded gel.
Will it fit my chair?
It suits most office chairs, dining chairs and car seats that are at least 16 in (41 cm) wide. Measure your seat if you're unsure.
Does it make me sit higher?
Slightly. Expect around 4–5 cm of extra height, a little less once you sit on it. You may want to adjust your chair or desk height.
